I’m still working on getting my Etsy shop together. I admit, I really underestimated how long it was going to take to do this! I seem to hit a mental block when I need to write a description of my work. I spent quite a bit of time last night browsing through other shops and seeing how others had set theirs up. I want to make sure that when I ‘open’ my shop that it looks professional and that it represents my work well.
This morning I worked on the little fall palette knife painting and it’s starting to take shape. It’s amazing how things come alive with just a few little flicks of paint. The fall trees are reflected in the lake which may be a little tricky to do….I’ll figure that out when I get to it!
Meanwhile I came across the art of Gabriel Dawe who creates large installations using thread. Check out his website at www.gabrieldawe.com to see more of these amazing colour spectrums made from thread!
