Today I spent more time drawing the boat tied to the dock onto a canvas. The painting will be 16″ x 20″ which is a really nice size. I love the reflection and the patterns made by the ripples in the water.
It’s really exciting have a number of projects at different stages. It allows me a lot of flexibility and I can choose what suits me each day. Some days I have more time and energy so it’s the perfect opportunity to mix up some paints and spend a couple of hours working on a canvas. Other days (like today) I prefer to take the canvas and put it on my lap in a comfy chair and work on the drawing.
I’m still working on getting things organized and now I’m also preparing to be a panelist at ARTrepreneur in Peterborough on February 7th. It’s a full-day of presentations on exploring the business side of the art world along with networking opportunities. I’m really looking forward to it although I’m a nervous too! Details are here.
